CLIVE NICHOLSON (Musical Director)
Born in Bromborough and raised in Ellesmere Port, Clive’s first experience of music-making was as a member of the Ellesmere Port Grammar School Brass Band in the 1970s.
He later diversified into choral singing, light opera and folk dancing in various parts of the country before returning to the Wirral in 1983.
He sang for many years with the Ellesmere Port Music Society, serving as Assistant Chorusmaster for some of this time, and from 1987 to 2001 also sang countertenor with the close harmony group “Five in a Bar”.
He was appointed Musical Director of the Hadlow Green Singers in 2009, and currently sings with the Chester Bach Singers and plays with the brass band Brillo Brass.
